Honeywell Sr Legal Operations Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Sr Legal Operations Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and corporate M&A team in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions. You will be responsible for conducting due diligence, coordinating drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Your expertise in M&A or other corporate transactions and attention to detail will be essential in driving successful outcomes for Honeywell.

You will report directly to our General Counsel – Corporate Transactions, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by providing critical support to our legal team and contributing to the successful execution of M&A transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of legal technology tools and systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency

  • Manage and optimize legal department processes and workflows

  • Manage the legal department budget and track expenses

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance, tax, and HR teams, to ensure smooth execution of transactions

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the M&A process

  • Manage relationships with other external vendors and service providers

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience, with a focus on M&A or other corporate transactions

  • Strong knowledge of legal department operations and best practices

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
