Google Web Solutions Engineer, Tools Development and Automation in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience building and testing APIs or web applications.

  • 1 Year Experience in full-stack software development.

  • Experience with backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, or C++).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience with technical project management, technical stakeholder management, and non-technical stakeholder management.

  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).

  • Experience working with web technologies (e.g. HTTP, TCP/IP, HTML, CSS, XML).

  • Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems.

  • Design, build, deploy, and improve elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools. Ensure reliable backends, build pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources, implement responsive and UX-rich front-ends, or enhance performance of existing tools and services.

  • Analyze problems and developing solutions, while identifying dependencies and resolving issues to drive implementation.

  • Make technical contributions, including writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL).

  • Provide subject-matter expertise and utilizing comprehensive knowledge of Google's relevant technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions.
