The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the P&FS programme assurance functions for the closure of the BT Tower working with the buyer and the wider BT and Openreach delivery teams to ensure BT Groups contractual obligations are delivered.

What you’ll be doing

• Programme assurance for the closure of the BT Tower complex across all CFU/CU inputs into the closure programme.

• Ensuring all CFU/CU have delivery plans, cost management processes, risk management procedures in place.

• Responsible for BT Tower budget monitoring and agreement/allocation of acceleration funding

• Responsible for co-ordination and progress reports to the Tower Monitoring group on behalf of BT to monitor the decommissioning progress.

• Responsible for SPA (Sale Purchase Agreement) contract management including early access licenses, intrusive investigations, redevelopment brief, heritage equipment et al.

• Responsible for Assurance activities for P&FS input into the wider Simpler Networks programme including setting document management standards, due diligence assurance, audits etc.

• Supporting existing P&FS delivery programmes incl. preparation of vacation brief documents for specialised estate building closures & hand backs.

The experience you'll have

• Programme/portfolio management: strong programme/portfolio delivery management skills. Able to pull out key deliverables/ milestones, interdependencies & to track, report and communicate jeopardy to business audiences.

• Relationship management: strong relationship management skills and able to on board and maintain focus of key stakeholders and delivery partners.

• Real Estate: experience gained or member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

• Knowledge of BT’s UK and non-UK networks and data centres.

• Telereal contract and building decommissioning processes
