Position Summary

CVS Health is recruiting for an Executive Director, Sales and Account Management in Payor Solutions who will develop and manage a team that carries out processes for sales, account management, and business retention. This leader will establish policies and programs in sales, account management, and business retention for products and services in support of profitable growth and organizational objectives. There are 3 open positions: one will lead a vertical supporting clients connected to Caremark, one will lead a vertical supporting clients connected to Aetna, and one will lead a vertical supporting directly to the clients.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Responsibility for executing a comprehensive sales effectiveness plan to achieve required new client sales, retention of existing customers and upsell of value-add products and services.

  • Strong understanding of key sales execution and contract negotiation competencies required to support the sales process, with demonstrated ability to qualify, manage, and deliver quantifiable results over time.

  • Ability to effectively drive change and have challenging conversations to achieve necessary business objectives.

  • Collaborating with enterprise partners to achieve sales, retention, and product pull-through objectives.

  • Analyzing competitive environment to support and improve pricing and product development strategies as well as service approach and sales efforts.

  • Recruiting, attracting, and retaining a diverse workforce and engages and develops them through mentoring, coaching, and making available tools and resources.

  • Partnering with cross-functional team and represents sales to ensure internal and external constituent needs are met.

  • Removing organizational barriers that impact the cross-functional work required to achieve results.

  • Leading the team in developing and executing strategies to achieve target client satisfaction results. Take accountability for results including internal collaboration to drive change necessary to address client needs.

  • Possessing the experience, credibility, and demeanor to interact with individuals at the highest levels of client organizations and internally.

  • Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.

Required Qualifications

The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders.

The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:

  • 10+ years of experience in a sales or service executive role with strategic account and leadership proven performance.

  • Demonstrated track record highlighting leadership skills, ability, and willingness to plan and achieve colleague success.

  • Deep understanding of PBM, health plan, payor marketplace, program development and client management.

  • Proven financial acumen, and ability to set strategic direction to achieve budget goals and financial targets.

  • Demonstrated action and problem-solving orientation.

  • Experience with products, client management and operations with the ability to solve complex problems with people in other functional organizations.

  • This is a remote opportunity that can be located anywhere in the US

  • Ability to travel up to 40%.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professionalqualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$131,500.00 - $303,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
