A Hardware Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Redmond, WA (hybrid) area. This role involves leading the verification of complex IPs within the MAIA project, requiring extensive experience in UVM, SystemVerilog, and hardware design, with a focus on developing test plans, debugging RTL designs, and collaborating within a fast-paced, innovative team environment.

responsibilities:

• Define verification strategy and requirements for IP level verification.

• Create test plans and write tests for complete feature coverage.

• Lead verification for complex IPs, including test plan creation, UVM development, test case writing, debugging, regression testing, and coverage closure.

• Develop technical solutions for quality and design challenges.

• Apply Agile methodologies and lead small verification teams.

• Collaborate with cross-site and cross-geography teams.

Skills:

• strong understanding of computer architecture and debugging RTL designs.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl.

• Experience with high-performance DMA verification.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or

• Related field with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience without a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in relevant fields with additional years of experience.

• Expertise in test plan development, verification of many designs at the unit level, and systemVerilog concepts.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
